Lamination Technologies was incorporated in the United Kingdom in December 1999 to provide specialist technical consultancy for users of high tech textiles and, particularly, textile laminates.

It quickly became recognized in the textile laminate industry as an innovative niche business with excellent technical experience.

More recently, the company began to specialize in new laminates and materials designed to provide protection against extreme temperatures. Lamination Technologies use innovative and patented designs to provide unique levels of flame and thermal protection for both personnel and equipment.

The company incorporated in the United States in 2003 after opening an office in Moon Township, Pittsburgh (PA). In May 2006 they moved into a custom designed research and development facility at Northpointe Technical Park, Freeport PA.
